The terms of membership.
The terms that govern your membership at Club des Champions, written to be read. If anything is unclear, ask us.
Effective: August 2026
Introduction
These Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you ("the Member") and Club des Champions S.A. ("the Club"), governing your membership and your use of the Club's facilities and services. By submitting an application and making your first payment, you accept these Terms and the Code of Conduct they reference.
Eligibility
Membership is open to anyone aged 18 or older who submits a complete application, provides the requested information, and is approved by the Club. Approval is at the Club's discretion, and the Club is under no obligation to accept an application. Membership is personal and non-transferable.
Application and review
Applications are submitted through our website. Each application is carefully reviewed, and you can expect a response within a few business days. If approved, you'll receive an email with instructions for your first payment. If not, you'll receive a courteous notice.
Payment
Membership is prepaid in United States dollars for one of five commitment lengths: 1, 3, 6, 9, or 12 months. We accept bank transfer, cheque, and cash at the front desk. Every payment produces a receipt sent to your registered email address. Prices are as published on the Membership page and may be revised for future membership periods.
Renewals, pauses, and cancellation
We'll email you before your membership ends. You can renew at the front desk, and renewing while you're still active extends your existing membership rather than restarting it, so you never lose a day. You may pause your membership once per membership period for up to 30 consecutive days. You may cancel future renewals at any time; the current, already-paid period is not refunded.
Access and hours
Club des Champions is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including the coworking space. Some services, including the pool, café, Kids Club, playground, tennis, pickleball, and other amenities, have set hours or may require a reservation. Current schedules and reservation availability are published in the member app and on-site. Hours may change with reasonable notice due to seasonal adjustments, maintenance, or other operational needs.
Code of Conduct
Every member agrees to uphold the Club's Code of Conduct. Serious or repeated violations may lead to suspension or termination of membership, without refund of the current period. Enforcement decisions are handled by Club management.
Assumption of risk and liability
Using fitness equipment, the pool, sports facilities, and other physical amenities carries inherent risks, and members use these facilities at their own discretion and responsibility. The Club recommends seeking appropriate medical advice before beginning a new fitness or physical activity. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Club is not liable for injuries arising from a member's use of the facilities, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Guests
You are responsible for your guest's conduct and respect of the Code of Conduct during their visit. Guest access requires sign-in at the front desk and is subject to the guest-pass allowance included with your membership.
Personal property
The Club is not liable for lost or stolen belongings. Lockers are available in the changing areas; members are encouraged to keep valuables secured or with them. Items left in lockers or other areas may be handled by the team in accordance with Club policy.
Changes to services or terms
The Club may amend these Terms, adjust prices, or modify services as needed. Material changes will be communicated to active members by email with reasonable notice before they take effect.
Termination
You may end your membership at any time; the current membership period is not refunded. The Club may terminate a membership for a material breach of these Terms or the Code of Conduct, or for non-payment. In such cases, the current membership period is not refunded unless otherwise required by law.
Data and privacy
The Club processes your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Haiti. Any dispute connected to your membership falls to the competent courts of Port-au-Prince. The parties will first seek to resolve any dispute amicably.
